You've probably reached this website from one on the various social networks that I have or possibly in a general search for my name. However you've got here, Welcome! My name is Starr. I'm a theatre artist and have been for the past 25 years of my life. I currently teach at Marion High School in Marion, Arkansas which is about 5 minutes outside of Memphis, Tennessee.
As the theatre instructor for Marion and the Performing Arts Center manager for the city, I come across many different and creative individuals. When not at the theatre, directing or making great art, I host a podcast called Theatre Coffee and I write books on various subjects that I find interesting. I'm also an actor who hasn't been in a role in a show for a very long time, so I'm looking forward to eventually getting back into that as my schedule permits. I'm a father of two beautiful little girls named Madeline and Emily. I am the husband to Bonny Lee Hardgrove.
It's going to be great getting to know each and every one of you as I continue my new life here in the Memphis area and I'm looking forward to working with you in the near future.
I'll be writing about topics on this blog from time to time that interest me. They will most likely be about theatre or performance in some way shape or form, or the new book I'm writing, marketing and promotion, or anything else that interests me. Maybe something that interests you that I want to explore. I welcome your comments and please share this anywhere that you would like. Let's connect together to make great art.
